The discussion emphasized clearer, non-prescriptive planning language for water and wildfire sections: commissioners agreed to change terminology such as "reinforce" to "consider" in some policy statements and to keep aspirational guidance that will later inform regulations. They also requested that any wildfire-risk imagery include clear source attribution and that consultant drafts be returned after a 2–5 week turnaround for consolidation.
