Ottawa County Conservation District asks for $25,000; says state will double county contribution

Commissioner Carla Grund confirmed that the county is the district’s only local funding source apart from the state allocation. The Commission did not take final action on the request during the May 12 meeting; the item will be considered as part of the 2026 budget process.
