The board approved a $745,928 contract with Current Mechanical to replace four HVAC units at the 25-year-old Allen County Juvenile Center after MSKTD recommended Current as the only viable option; motion passed 3-0.

Greg Peters, director of detention operations at the Allen County Juvenile Center, presented a contract (Bid Ref #04-2026) with Current Mechanical to replace four of the facility’s 17 HVAC units at a cost of $745,928.00. Peters said MSKTD, the design firm, recommended Current Mechanical as the only viable option for the 25-year-old building.
