The Wyoming County Public Safety Committee on July 2 authorized acceptance of a U.S. Department of Justice award to replace bulletproof vests older than five years and to purchase vests for new employees. The grant reimburses 50% of the cost, not to exceed $6,921.32, and covers the period April 1, 2025 through Aug. 31, 2027.
