Zak framed Roswell's future as an opportunity to balance growth with environmental protection. "What I look forward to is kind of growing the city while protecting the tree canopy, while protecting the economy to create a place where the environment is integrated with a suburban economic growth center," he said, adding that the city's geography and history offer a unique chance to get the balance right.
