Council approves Comprehensive Plan amendments and zoning code changes
Council approved recommended amendments to the Comprehensive Plan including updates on grants, impact fees, affordable housing definitions and accessory dwelling units, passed Resolution #173, and approved zoning code updates and Ordinance 2025-2 to change Municipal Code Title 17, Chapter 50.

Director Shawn Oliverson presented amendments to the Comprehensive Plan including statistical updates, interagency coordination for the area of impact, grant language for downtown revitalization, consideration of impact fees, a working definition for affordable housing, and language on accessory dwelling units. The council voted unanimously to amend the Comprehensive Plan as recommended and then approved Resolution #173 authorizing the amendment.
