Southgate council unanimously backs Read Ready kindergarten program

The City of Southgate Council on Oct. 1 approved Resolution 25-15, a formal commitment to the Read Ready kindergarten-readiness program. City Attorney Stewart read the resolution to the Council as "Resolution 25-15 City's commitment to improving Kindergarten readiness with Read Ready program." The motion (Melville/Okura) was adopted by a 5–0 vote.
