The board approved a resolution accepting donations for the benefit of the district, citing Minnesota Statute 123B.02 as authority that permits school boards to receive bequests, donations or gifts and act as trustee when appropriate. The motion, made by Edwards and seconded by Hillstrom, passed on roll call with Gordee, Edwards, Johnson, Praska, Kneeland and Hillstrom voting in favor.
