District presents Integrated Programs annual report, notes equity and CTE access concerns

Presenters said the district had met targets for the 2022-24 period and highlighted improved attendance and gains on measures such as 2nd grade ELA proficiency and 9th-grade on-track and graduation rates. They described strategies including equity-focused budgeting, increased family and student engagement, and use of MTSS and empathy interviews to gather student voice. Presenters also identified barriers, including course-scheduling inequities and declining funds that complicate equitable access to career-technical education (CTE).
Board members pressed for detail on how equity-focused budgeting is applied and asked for gender- and subgroup-level outcome data; Superintendent Klinger and staff said they will report additional disaggregated results and continue to seek community partners to support sustainability.
