Board members spent substantial time discussing the district’s interdistrict transfer rules and whether to allow exceptions for students who previously attended preschool in-district. Staff explained the standing policy: 0 interdistrict transfers allowed for kindergarten through eighth grade and up to 20 for grades 9–12, with exceptions available only for documented hardship under state rules.
