Board accepts Jelco bid to replace SMS upper gym floor
Sweetwater ISD accepted the lowest of three bids from Jelco to replace the upper gym floor at Sweetwater Middle School; the Budget Subcommittee recommended Jelco following its Feb. 21 meeting and the Board approved 7–0.

Superintendent Dr. Deidre Parish told the Board that three bids were received to replace the Sweetwater Middle School upper gym floor and that the Budget Subcommittee on Feb. 21 recommended awarding the work to Jelco, the lowest bidder. Trustee Brenda Valdez moved to accept the Jelco quote; Trustee Tasha Soto seconded the motion and it passed unanimously, 7–0.
