Jewell County approves revised Health Department rules; grant deadline extended
The Jewell County Commission unanimously approved updated rules and regulations for the county Health Department and heard that the state extended the All-Hands-on-Deck grant deadline from June 2025 to September 2026.

The Jewell County Commission voted unanimously June 9 to adopt revised rules and regulations for the Jewell County Health Department. Commissioner Ervin Underwood moved to approve the revisions and Commissioner Brent Beck seconded; the motion passed without objection.
