Valley View ISD’s board on Jan. 13 amended the recommended Secondary Incentive Plan to match stipend amounts to those approved for elementary teachers and approved the plan on a unanimous vote. Aaron Larraga, human-resources director, presented the administration’s recommendation.
Board member Omar Garcia moved to amend the administration’s recommendation; Board President Claudia Coronado seconded. The minutes record the motion passed unanimously. The change adjusts secondary stipends to parity with elementary stipend levels approved earlier by the district.
