Technology Director Lahne Burns reported recurring issues with the ISONAS access-control admin portal that have caused incorrect door-status reports. He is coordinating with RSI and ISONAS support and said he is "in the process of setting up a separate VLAN for our Access Controlled Doors" to try to resolve the problem.
Burns also reported the district has received a new gym projector and screen but that installation is delayed while staff source a lift small enough for the gym floor. He reminded trustees to complete required cybersecurity training at eduhero.net using their Veribest ISD email before the end of May: "I need each of the School Board members to complete their Cybersecurity Training before the end of May. I report our compliance online at the beginning of June." The training requirement arises from recent state-level guidance; Burns will report compliance to the district's online compliance tracker.
