At the Jan. 28 special meeting, the board considered an addendum authorizing the Interim Superintendent to make necessary expenditures for a central kitchen walk-in freezer. The request was presented by Interim Superintendent Dr. Monica Luna, Executive Director of District Operations Efrain Matamoros, and Child Nutrition Director Sandra Lopez. Board President Claudia Coronado made the motion to authorize the expense and Jaime Gaona seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
