Gale and other presenters said two projects — a trailhead/education park project and a 309‑acre Weaverville watershed trails proposal — were held because staff identified details needing resolution, including community concerns about a proposed parking location; subcommittee members said they would explicitly request that commissioners reserve approximately $4,108,173 as potential holdover funding while these projects are finalized.
