Comal County introduces new emergency management assistant and names new assistant county administrator

Comal County staff introduced two recent hires during the Jan. 8 meeting. Jeff Kelly introduced Frankie Walters, who started Monday as the assistant emergency management coordinator and brings experience from Southeast Texas in emergency services and management.
Separately, a court member announced the hiring of Marcus Pacheco as Comal County assistant county administrator; Pacheco was introduced as coming from Hays County and was welcomed by the court. Commissioners and staff expressed optimism about both hires.
