Florence approves Eagle Post change order and accepts MDOT final contract decrease

Construction, Inc. adding $7,849.61 to the Eagle Post Road Overlay Project contract. The board also approved Mississippi Department of Transportation Contractor's Estimate‑Recap Sheet for STP‑7073‑00(001)1091780701, which reflected a final contract decrease of $27,066.95.
Both motions carried unanimously. The increases and decreases will be reflected in project accounting; the board did not debate funding sources during the meeting and directed staff to process the contract paperwork as recommended by the city engineer.
