Planning Commission, council pause Sport Courts construction until Master Plan framework is complete

At the Sept. 6 meeting, Planning Commission member Mike Botelho moved that construction of the Sport Courts be paused until the Village Master Plan framework is complete. Tim McCarthy seconded the motion; the council took a roll-call vote with five ayes and zero nays and approved the pause.
Botelho also announced a Planning Commission workshop set for Sept. 13 from 9–11 a.m. EST and asked that Julie Bonello be added to reports as the Planning Commission chair. The pause directs staff and the commission to coordinate sport-court timing with the Master Plan process.
