Board says county’s move to its own Motorola CAD server could begin this fall
The chair told the board the county is close to receiving a final quote to move Motorola CAD off the state server onto a county server, estimating six months to a year for data transition and suggesting October as the earliest acceptable start to avoid overlapping fire season.

The chair updated the board on June 4 about plans to move the county's Motorola CAD off the state CAD server and onto an in-house server. The board previously approved the concept; the chair said a final quote is expected and staff will forward the procurement to county commission once the quote arrives.
