The board approved Resolution #6 of 2025 authorizing a one-year Municipal Justice Court Security Services Agreement with the county to provide a deputy sheriff when violent offenders are expected in court.

The Town Justice requested that the board authorize a Municipal Justice Court Security Services Agreement with the county to provide a deputy sheriff for court when violent or high-risk cases are anticipated. Council Member Joseph Trappler moved to approve Resolution #6 of 2025 allowing the town to enter the one-year agreement; the motion passed with Ayes from Council Members Weale, Lyons, Trappler and Becker.
