The Selectboard discussed a recent unilateral decision granting building access and expressed frustration about communication and role boundaries. Members agreed access to areas of the Weston Playhouse that cannot be secured or that are experiencing ongoing plumbing problems would be restricted when no one is in the building.
Katie Fitzpatrick confirmed the access code to the Weston Playhouse had been removed and the Playhouse has been informed. The board said it would continue the discussion at the July 14 meeting to clarify procedures, improve communication among members, and reaffirm role boundaries to prevent future unilateral decisions.
