Board members repeatedly asked for clearer documentation of how runoff from the Homestead site will reach existing drainage infrastructure, noting ongoing problems near Union Street. Allison McKellar asked the applicant to expand the drainage mapping beyond the lot and to quantify the anticipated change in runoff. "There's only, I understand, a small increase in impervious surface, so I don't expect it's gonna make anything massively worse," McKellar said, but added the board still needs to see where the flows ultimately go and whether the town system can accommodate any increase.
