City staff announced the Grand Prairie Housing and Neighborhood Services Annual Home Ownership Fair will be at the Ruthie Jackson Center on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; registration opens at 8 a.m. and preregistration is available.

Grand Prairie Housing and Neighborhood Services announced an Annual Home Ownership Fair at the Ruthie Jackson Center on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring workshops and guidance on credit scores, down-payment assistance, foreclosure prevention and home repairs. The event includes family activities, prize drawings and a free lunch; city staff said preregistration is available and on-site registration opens at 8 a.m.
