The Wales Town Council adopted a temporary restriction on new water hookups at its Feb. 3 meeting, voting to limit hookups to four in the next six months while the town evaluates the performance of a boost pump. The motion, made by Council member Brandon Rees and seconded by Council member David Larson, passed unanimously. Council members indicated staff should prepare a resolution to set an annual hookup limit based on a production study once the boost pump is functioning.
