Zach Stewart, surface waters staff, updated the committee on recent program activities including his participation in the Woods and Water Conference and an algae inquiry at Beauregard Lake. Stewart said the program is conducting mapping and surveillance of curly‑leaf pondweed and monitoring water quality concerns.
Stewart invited committee members and staff to join field mapping and surveillance on May 28 at 10:30 a.m. He encouraged committee participation to support monitoring and data collection efforts but did not request committee action during the meeting.
