During reports on June 10, Supervisor Bruce Giuda said the Planning Board requested a moratorium on any battery storage or data centers within the Town of Butternuts. Giuda told the board he would discuss the request with the Town Attorney to determine whether the town can enact a moratorium and what legal route would be required.
