The O'Brien County Board of Supervisors voted Dec. 16, 2025, to appoint Whitney Engelke to the Sutherland Library Board. Committee member Friedrichsen moved the appointment and Committee member McDowell seconded; the minutes record the action as "Moved by Friedrichsen, seconded by McDowell to appoint Whitney Engelke to the Sutherland Library Board. Motion carried by all ayes."
