Board approves consent agenda, several resolutions and multiple appointments

The Wise County Board of Supervisors approved the Consent Agenda and a set of resolutions covering items such as an Emergency Operations Plan (Resolution #29-2026) and the resolution adopting the Wise County Coal and Gas Severance Tax Road Improvement Advisory Committee (Resolution #30-2026). Several appointments were taken up: Natalie Chapman was re-appointed to the Spearhead Trailblazers Board of Directors for a three-year term; Karen Mullins was re-appointed to the Crooked Road Board of Directors for a four-year term with authority to appoint an alternate; Jackie Johnson was re-appointed to the LENOWISCO Planning District Commission Board for a three-year term and Harry Kelly was appointed to the LENOWISCO board for a three-year term; Sim Ewing was appointed to the MECC Advisory Board for a four-year term. A few appointments (Community Policy and Management Board, Board of Equalization, Industrial Development Authority) were tabled to future meetings.
