The Wise County Board of Supervisors on June 25 approved Chairman J. H. Rivers attending the recessed meeting remotely via speakerphone. The motion to permit remote attendance was made by Supervisor Randy Carter and seconded by Clarence S. “Rusty” Peters Jr.; Chairman Rivers abstained and the motion passed.
