Wise County approves CDBG application for Riverview water line replacement

The Wise County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution authorizing submission of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application for the Riverview Water Line Replacement Phase I Project. The approval (Resolution #32-2026) followed a duly advertised public hearing and a presentation by Jimmy Adkins, Director of Planning at LENOWISCO, who provided an update on the application as it pertains to the Riverview project.
Supervisor Clarence Peters, Jr. moved to approve the resolution and Tim Boardwine seconded; the motion was unanimously approved and the resolution is on file in the County Administrator’s Office.
