High school to condense state testing window; district exploring on-campus driver education

On a separate initiative, the principal said schools are exploring bringing driver's education to campus via a private provider with the potential to certify teachers as driving instructors; the plan was described as very tentative and intended to be cost neutral to the district.
Board members expressed support and asked staff to continue vetting the logistics and cost model for an on-site driver's education offering.
