The South Strabane Township Planning Commission recommended reapproval of a corrected subdivision plan after staff and the applicant’s surveyor explained a mapping error carried forward from Washington County courthouse records. Township staff said the county record showed an access strip as a separate lot rather than part of a remnant parcel, which affected area calculations; the surveyor corrected the depiction so deed and title work can proceed.
