Principals report on testing and programs; students and staff recognized
Summary
Elementary, middle and high school principals delivered campus updates on testing, staffing and programs; the board honored students for MAP growth and FFA/cross-country qualifiers, and recognized outstanding teachers at each campus.
School leaders delivered brief reports across campuses. Joanna Fullingim, elementary principal, reported on a campus update that included Friday optional learning plans and the upcoming 3rd grade state field test; Ollie Hart, middle school principal, reviewed T-TESS observation progress, mid-year staff conferences and semester course changes; Tate Albright, high school principal, provided updates on staffing, spring-semester launch and academic planning.
The board also recognized multiple students and staff. Joanna Fullingim recognized Finleigh Sawyer, Noah Rangel and Angel Rivera for exceptional MAP growth. Ollie Hart recognized Peyton Oswalt for academic and character excellence. Tate Albright recognized Bryleigh Byers, Kellin Hart, Jessie Chisum and Scotlann Bickel as FFA state qualifiers in Public Relations. Kerry Carlisle recognized Breanna Shorter for qualifying for the State Cross Country Meet. Staff recognitions included Holly Williamson (elementary), Wendy Simmons (middle school) and Angie Redwine (high school) for outstanding dedication and excellence in instruction.
