Putnam County’s Office of Emergency Management is planning a Full-Scale Exercise on Sept. 21, 2024, using a train derailment scenario, OEM Coordinator Chauntelle Biagi-Bruer told the board. Biagi-Bruer said the exercise is being planned for the Bureau-Putnam Local Emergency Planning Committee and noted she recently submitted quarterly grant requests and two new grant applications.
Biagi-Bruer reported that the OEM building is heavily booked in September with several October bookings already on the calendar; she also said she continues to serve as Region 2 Regional Vice President and has attended numerous meetings related to emergency planning.
