Cherry Elementary students recognized for mClass growth; CTE showcase highlighted

Bay City ISD opened its Feb. 16 meeting with recognition of Cherry Elementary students who showed strong growth on mClass assessments.
Lisa Howard presented the Celebration of Excellence to the students who showed the most growth from beginning-of-year to middle-of-year assessments. Trustees also celebrated recent community events: youth softball's opening ceremonies and a well-attended CTE Showcase featuring students, staff and local businesses.
These remarks were part of the meeting's "Good News" segment and were presented before the business agenda.
