Board hears multiple district reports and recognizes program participants
At the June 24 meeting, the board heard reports on athletics, SHAC, ACE afterschool programs, the Atlanta Education Foundation, ADA matters, transfer students, and the Summer Leadership Institute; the FLEX program graduate and AHS fishing team were recognized.

District staff delivered a series of reports during the June 24 meeting. Presentations included an Athletic Program report by Tyler Morton, a School Health Advisory Council report by Kristen Thompson, an Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE) report from Shelly Waldon and Angela Thompson, the Atlanta Education Foundation annual report from Donna Rice, an ADA report by Marilyn Cobb, and an update on transfer students presented by Superintendent Jason Harris. Board members also reported on the Summer Leadership Institute, and the board recognized a FLEX program graduate and members of the AHS fishing team.
