Board approves District Emergency Operations Plan; administration reports presented

As part of administrative reports, the Superintendent provided an update on Region 12 safety and security follow-up, noting a walkthrough by Region 12 would occur about a week after the meeting to review pending items from construction. The Superintendent also outlined next steps for Team of Eight training and said the board would plan a special meeting in November. The Superintendent reported a furniture auction is ready to proceed and that the baseball field still requires dirt work with approximately $35,000 remaining to complete that work.
Later in the agenda the board approved the District Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) on a motion by Christie Harper with Heath Jackson seconding; the approval was recorded unanimous with Lance Donaldson absent. Administration also reviewed financial and cash flow reports for trustees during the meeting.
