Borger ISD board approves three employment recommendations and notes two resignations

The Board of Trustees approved recommendations for employment during the Jan. 12 meeting. On a motion by Mr. Keegan Neill, seconded by Mr. Robert Bradley, trustees voted 7-0 to approve the recommended hires: DeShay Edwards, Ilsa Ramirez and Patricia Shay.
The board was informed of two resignations — Christopher Carroll and Spring Keener — as part of the personnel report. Paraprofessionals Desy Barraza, Selena Lopez, Candace Lilley, Maggie Northcutt and Joslyn Salazar were reviewed by trustees but no separate vote on the paraprofessionals was recorded in the minutes.
The personnel motions were recorded as carrying unanimously. The minutes indicate no further action or follow-up assignments recorded in open session.
