Borger ISD board approves routine consent items, 2026–27 compensation plan
At its April 9 meeting the Borger ISD Board of Trustees approved a slate of consent agenda items, the 2026–27 compensation plan, an earnest money contract for the FPC Tyler Street building and raised a Happy State Bank travel card limit to $75,000.

The Borger Independent School District Board of Trustees met April 9, 2026, and opened the meeting at 6:02 p.m. Board President Payton Lumpkin stated, “Let the record show that a quorum of board members is present, that the meeting has been duly called, and that notice of this meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.”
