Bland ISD accepts donation, votes appraisal-district ballots
The board accepted a $500 donation to Bland High School boys basketball and approved a resolution allocating Bland ISD's votes for the Hunt County Appraisal District board (18 votes each to Jim Bob Grove and Paul Painter).

During the Nov. 10 meeting Superintendent Brian Bymaster noted a $500 donation from RD Underground Construction INC to the Bland High School boys basketball team. The board adopted a resolution enabling receipt and use of donations for student clothing and meals later in the agenda; the donations resolution passed unanimously after a motion by Cody Welborn and second by Kendal Wright.
