Counsel warned that if the extension is denied the county will examine alternatives to come into compliance and that staff will follow up with additional details and next steps. "We did make a motion, to extend, that deadline, for a period of 90 days, which according to the Washington Administrative Code, is a discretionary thing," counsel said. The work session record does not show whether the extension was granted during this meeting; staff said they will follow up with legal details as questions arise.
