The Chico Independent School District Board of Trustees voted on April 22, 2026, to interview two applicants for the district superintendent position, approving the motion 6-0. Trustee Ubaldo Garcia moved to approve “Two (2) as the number of applicants to be interviewed,” and Trustee Cassie Skinner seconded the motion.
