Trustee Sam Handley moved that the Board determine the district's budget cannot support the purchase of school buses equipped with three-point seatbelts as required by Texas Senate Bill 546; Trustee Josh Clarke seconded the motion and it passed 6-0. The motion records the board's formal determination regarding the district's current fiscal capacity in relation to the state requirement.
