Following an executive session, the Board approved hiring one Engineer/EMT, three Parks Technician I positions and one PT Recreation Aide; Mayor Griego made the recommendations and the council voted unanimously on each hire.

After meeting in executive session under NMSA 1978 §10‑15‑1(H), Mayor Charles Griego recommended several hires and the council approved each by recorded motion. The minutes show approval for a recommended Engineer/EMT (Gabrie Gutierrez), a PT Recreation Aide (Josiah David Griego) and three Parks Technician I hires (Nerval Ronalson, Joshua Edenfield and Benjamin Davila).
