Board accepts completion of Jackson and Wise Elementary bond projects; bond work reported on time and under budget

Superintendent Dean later gave a larger facilities and bond update: the district completed about 11 major projects over roughly 18 months, reported the academy building move-in was complete, the multipurpose activity center (MAC) will open after completion of a netting system, and several retained amounts remain until final items are finished. Dean said the projects have largely come in on time and under budget while noting retainage and pending finish items.
The board moved and unanimously voted to accept the work on the two elementary projects and thanked staff and contractors for the work to date.
