During the April 21 meeting the Board first moved to pull consent item 5R (TASB Policy Update 126) for individual discussion. Trustees then voted to approve consent items A–S except R before later returning to approve item 5R; Trustee Michael Valdez is recorded as abstaining on the separate vote regarding item 5R.
