The Premont Independent School District Board of Trustees voted on Feb. 24, 2026, to approve E-Rate contracts to support internet access and network upgrades. Trustee Ruben Martinez moved the contract approvals; Trustee Fred Gutierrez seconded. The motion passed unanimously among members present (6–0), with Trustees Angie Q. Barrera and Emma V. Falcon recorded as absent.
