The Faribault County Board of Commissioners voted 4–1 on July 7, 2026 to approve an agreement with Project Blue following a presentation by Shawn Bacoccini. Commissioners Bruce Anderson, Greg Young, Gertrude Paschke and Tom Loveall voted to approve the agreement; Commissioner Bill Groskreutz voted no.
