The Sugar Creek Joint Board on May 21 adopted Resolution 2026-123 to extend the final hearing on Sugar Creek Ditch #162 to on or by Aug. 11, 2026, to allow for resubmission of new plans. The motion was moved by Commissioner Smith (Sandusky County) and seconded by Commissioner Mark W. Stahl of Ottawa County. The joint-board roll-call shows a majority of yes votes; two members were recorded as absent.
